Any of the Ethernet ports of the switch can function as an uplink. Connect any port to the Ethernet (LAN) port of your router using an Ethernet cable.

Step 3

I have had two of these for maybe a year, and recently I have started having ports randomly stop working. I am not sure what the fix is at the moment.

it does what it says on the box, plug it in and make sure your router can send out 2.5 GB and you cables are at least CAT 7 rated and it will do the rest

Quality and fast ethernet switch

A reasonably priced and very good 2.5Gb ethernet switch. The build quality seems good, it doesn't make any noticeable noise. The speeds are more than enough for me and make this a future-proof ethernet switch for most.
