Good support but...

I gave it 3 stars for good customer service and a decent build.

I only gave it it 3 stars because I didn't have the patience to step through the customer service checklist for troubleshooting.

Unit was working, then it would flip to not working every time I got it working.

Misidentified as Wi‑Fi 7 — Actually Contains a Wi‑Fi 6 Chipset

I purchased the BrosTrend BE6500 expecting a true Wi‑Fi 7 adapter, but the unit I received contained the Realtek 8912 chipset, which is a Wi‑Fi 6/6E chip, not Wi‑Fi 7. The product was advertised as Wi‑Fi 7, but the hardware ID and driver behavior confirmed otherwise. BrosTrend support was responsive, but the device itself did not match the specifications listed. Buyers should be aware of the chipset discrepancy before purchasing.

Works pretty solid, had it for about 2 weeks now and my Internet speeds have gone up. A little difficult for me to set up but support was fast and helpful.

Using a WIFI 7 Antenna with AX6 wiring was very effective!

This item worked very well. It increased my wireless reception dramatically. I have long intended to connect my computer with a wired connection for more speed, but the logistics of wiring were formidable. Using the WiFi 7 Antenna with wifi 6 wiring was very effective. I intend to purchase another antenna for my wife's very shortly to increase her reception speed as well.
