I mainly wanted this unit for the 2.4GHz signal because the reception in my back yard was rather poor, and I have quite a few soil/moisture/water monitoring gadgets for my "smart" garden that need to be connected wirelessly. I installed this on the back wall of my house, under the eaves, keeping the PoE injector inside the attic, and only running an ethernet cord externally. So far, I haven't found any dead spots for reception at all in my yard, which is fantastic. The performance is not nearly as fast as my in-house wifi6e APs, but it's good enough for my use. Setup was standard, not extremely easy, but not difficult at all.Overall, this is a solid wifi extender unit that works exactly as advertised.
